Welcome to KALLOS!

I remember my beginnings in the beauty world and the first nails I did... I realized, that's it! This is my calling...

I enrolled in education and very soon after that I opened my own nail studio. My love for nails grew day by day. It's a job where you can turn your imagination into something real and picturesque...

I took a series of training courses because, of course, I wanted to be the best in the business and offer my clients the best possible service.
However, eyelash extensions have also appeared on the beauty market. Clients have been asking me about this treatment and whether I would introduce this service into my offering.
And so I soon enrolled in a basic eyelash extension course. It was not so long ago, in 2016, but I remember it like it was yesterday. Struggling with glue (thank goodness for today's fast-drying glues), with insulation, tweezers, and all the other eyelash extension tricks....

After the education, my face was: what did I need this for?!!

When doing nails, we don't use such fine and gentle movements as we do with eyelashes, except of course when we paint nails. So someone who has been doing nails for years may have a problem switching to gentler and finer movements at first.
I think this is a big problem for most of us who have been doing only nails for years. That was the case with me too.

Something that seemed much less complicated than nails, cutting templates, pinching and filing turned out to be so complicated for me that 3 months after the course, I didn't even touch my starter pack.

Yes... I cried over that package and over my certificate, but I knew that if I didn't start practicing, nothing would come of it.
And so, little by little, I found models and practiced on them, without commission of course, and I realized that it's all about practice! I was so sorry for those wasted and unused 3 months. But my progress was more and more visible every day, the clients were satisfied and that was the greatest reward for my hard work.

However, as everything in the beauty industry progresses, we also have to progress and follow that beauty trend, and back then the biggest beauty trend was, ta-daaaaa - his majesty, RUSSIAN VOLUME!
So let's solve that too. I enrolled in training, came and blew it. I don't know why, maybe I'm the only one (and maybe there are others), but for me Russian volume was much easier than basic lashes. And that's where my love for lashes actually just began.
What I found great at first was that the eyelashes between my nails served as a kind of rest. With nails, we are constantly on the move, talking to the client, and when we do 5-6 clients in a row, we are physically and mentally exhausted. When you put one eyelash between your nails, they come in handy as a kind of rest.

I currently plan to focus entirely on eyelashes.
They come to me as a kind of relaxation. The clients rest, music plays in the background, and I do the eyelashes and enjoy myself. And of course, the best part is when I finish the eyelashes and the client opens her eyes and looks in the mirror. When you see the client's smile, you know you're on the right track.

But, of course, like any job, it takes a lot of effort and many hours of practice to see results. And each new set of eyelashes will get better, just like with nails.

I never thought I would stop doing nails before, but today my only wish is to fully dedicate myself to eyelashes. I hope that with my post I will encourage at least those girls who gave up after the basic course (I know there are quite a few of them), because they, like me, thought it wasn't for them, to pick up their tweezers and practice, because only through perseverance and practice can we achieve results.. That's how it is in every business.

And if you decide to enter the world of eyelashes, don't do it just for the sake of money. It's a job that we need to do conscientiously because it's someone's eyes, or health, that's at stake.

And to answer the question from the beginning of the post... "Nails or eyelashes? Or both?"

I still choose eyelashes😊 And I hope that there will be more and more of us lash❤️rica. I am also happy for those who have chosen or will choose both, because both eyelashes and nails are a job in which we can develop and grow and, most importantly, express ourselves.

This is just proof that when you put all of yourself into something and put all your strength into it, then there are no limits and nothing is difficult anymore.

For some, it's just "stupid" nails and eyelashes, but for us, it's a life of existence and satisfaction.

Go ahead.
