Welcome to KALLOS!

Let's break down the story about corona. Let's not think for a second about all the bad things that may have befallen us. What will always pull us out of all the shit... are friends, colleagues and healthy interpersonal relationships. Money is a means, but not the goal. The goal is happiness and satisfaction. And that can't be bought with money. I'm happy that somehow there are always positive people around Kallos and that we are attracted to each other. Students, clients, customers, colleagues, business partners... We all progress together. And there is room for everyone. This is not a story about eyelashes, this is a story with a slightly deeper message. Discover it...

We continue with the adventures and misadventures of our Nina!!!

"Note this to future young eyelash artists."

Find an eyelash extension artist. Immediately after training, especially if, like me, you haven't had much experience with eyelash extensions.
Being a new lash artist and having a lash technician is extremely practical and very useful. Especially if you "prick" like me. My lash technician is an extremely good lash technician and an excellent educator.
I am her student but also an extremely demanding client.
So when my eyelash artist puts down her tweezers for three seconds, I'm like, Aaaaah, what are you doing now???
She's confused now, so even though she yelled at you yesterday because you took the wrong photo of your eyelashes as a student (did I teach you that?!?!) she now, as a client, confusedly and automatically replies, "I'm changing the strip?" 🤷🏽‍♀️
This time everything is crystal clear to you, but there will be some installations where she will do something that you don't do or do it differently so it won't be clear to you, and she will explain why she does it that way and you will test the technique on the next client. The same thing goes for the products she uses.
Two hours of extensions will be spent in quality conversation, as an eyelash artist with an eyelash artist, you will talk mostly about what binds you together, eyelashes, so you won't be that client who apologizes for her eye twitching because she was just annoyed by her mother-in-law, who used to resent her when she insisted on carnations before her wedding, and now, triggered by memories, she will tell her eyelash artist everything about it in two hours of psycho terror/therapy, depending on which perspective you look at it from.
Unlike such a client, you will leave the installation with beautiful eyelashes, new knowledge, experiences and acquaintances. The best investment is a few hundred kuna every three weeks. Both beautiful and smart. 🤷🏽‍♀️
Eyelashes will come in handy when your client says, "I don't want volume, those brooms, I want the ones you have!" You'll show her that volume isn't necessarily brooms by using your own example.
Even if you're not into eyelashes, still find yourself an eyelash stylist. You'll need her. Even if she opened a salon across the street from you, let her be your friend, not your competition. You'll need psychotherapy. Maybe you'll need glue, number 10 eyelashes, or information someday. She'll need it too, and she'll have you. Let her be your friend, even if she does "eyelash brooms" that go against your religion, never comment directly on her work to your clients, tastes differ, every product has its buyer, which means she's no longer your competition. Even though you're interested in her more than anything in the world, you'll never, under any circumstances, ask her how on earth she lashes with those fans. I didn't say that friendship with an eyelash stylist is all about receiving, it's also about giving.
In addition to real-life lash artists, who are always online, I also discovered virtual lash artists, which are great for me. Online support. A few months ago, one of them replied to my story about the education package and it was the beginning of a, for now, virtual, friendship. When I cried about the glue, a famous blogger contacted me in my inbox to help me with her advice. She surprised me and left me in a positive shock. Even the lash artist I was a little afraid of contacted me to comfort me with her experiences. Because she looks a little fierce. And anyway, she's a "big" lash artist, I didn't think she would communicate with "small" lash artists at all 🤷🏽‍♀️
Too much communication with lash artists can give you a headache, so maybe, like me, the "biggest lash artist" among lash artists will notice you. Since she also communicates with "small lash artists" just when your lash career is at a point where you don't feel like living that lash life anymore and you think you should give up on everything, she sends you a message saying, "We're putting the text on the blog!" You come out as a Kallos blogger and then you pick up those tweezers again, make fans and think to yourself, "Come on, I'll make those perfect lashes for her someday, she must have recognized something in me that I don't recognize yet, justify her trust, keep working, no, you can have more blogs than lash sets! And so you keep working, and as you can see, you have a lot of crises that lash artists help you out of, both the "small" ones who are fellow sufferers and the "big" ones who know that this is how it starts.
Basically, find your own eyelash stylist, definitely. If possible, not mine, I think my eyelash stylist has the nerve for one like this 🙋🏽‍♀️😂
The vast majority of eyelash extensions will help you. Even the famous one who has a bunch of her own commitments and other followers, the one who seemed terrible to you, will comfort you in times of crisis without even realizing it, and in the biggest crisis, the one from Rijeka who also missed out on the education package, knows what you need, she will send you a bottle of wine.🙌🏽
Eyelash extensions are not your competition, your eyelashes are your Queens. Period!
Xx
