Welcome to KALLOS!

We've extended the quarantine for another long weekend. We wouldn't be us if we didn't combine Friday with Sunday even during a pandemic 😂😂😂
I'm kidding, of course!
I have a feeling that after a long time, all beauty technicians are eagerly waiting for Monday!!!
Says Khalid, "Who would have thought that miracles would happen..." and that from #stayhome we can't wait to #GoToWork.
Everything has turned around, but in fact it has remained the same. Let's get to work. Disinfected, sterilized, never cleaner salons and homes. Newly decorated balconies and yards, on the one hand, and completely destroyed homes, on the other. Anyone from Zagreb knows what I'm talking about. We kind of forgot about the earthquake...for a while. At least until we walk through the city center on our way to work. An earthquake is an ugly story, let's be positive today. Sometimes that motto of repeating positive things gets on my nerves a bit... Let people cry, but it will be a little easier afterwards. But then again, if you repeat it long enough, you actually start to believe it yourself.
So, after the initial shock, sadness, nervousness, fear, panic, anger (I'm only now realizing how many emotions there were), I entered the "Take advantage of what life offers you" phase.
In this case, not too much, but enough.
The bedroom served as a virtual classroom, the bathroom was often a place to relax, and the kitchen and living room were offices, although sometimes they were more reminiscent of a battlefield, partly because of the cooking, partly because of 24-hour socializing with my husband and two children (let's be honest, we love them, but 24 hours???? 🙀🙀🙀)
Everyone has already seen the results of my quarantine. Just click on the new website and you will see everything.
I'll look back at that last blog at the very beginning of quarantine.
Sit-ups - 0 ✔️
Books read - 0✔️
(but I wrote one, it's worth double 😉)
Cooking - solid ✔️
Talking - hmm, if it involves yelling, then we've been talking for half a lifetime✔️
Closets - tidy✔️
Apartment - almost renovated✔️
Board games - Fortnite counts, right? 🤔✔️
Dedication to myself - at least 5 times I was convinced I had all the symptoms and put out my last cigarette to strengthen my lungs at the last minute🤦‍♀️✔️
Overall, a solid average.
What is yours like?
I hope better!
Anyway, this corona has swept through our lives, I hope it will disappear just as quickly.
Now it's time to get to work.
To apply all this valuable information and knowledge that we have gathered in recent weeks to our clients and business. To be more decisive and confident in what we do or say. To value our knowledge and service (because as you can see, clients have returned, at least the vast majority of them, right?). We are not irreplaceable, but we are not irrelevant either.
Do business smart and be prepared for every next "corona". Maintain professionalism towards clients, in fact, raise it to a higher level. Wear masks and sterilize work tools. Sort infectious waste. Establish minimum hygiene standards. Extend sanitation. Establish occupational safety and DDD. Service fire extinguishers. Stick all warning stickers at the entrance. Renew fiscalization and issue invoices. Give the client a mask. Give her a few treatments if necessary. Offer her a new treatment that you perfected in quarantine. Don't lower your prices. Thank the landlords who forgave your rent.
Smile at the cashier at Kaufland. Throw a barbecue, because tomorrow is May 1st, but just make sure there are 5 of you in the team😉. If it rains, go to McDrive for the umpteenth time, make the kids happy. Be happy if you still have a job because 30,000 people have lost their jobs. Give a mask to the grandfather on the bench. Let the grandmother pass in front of you in that kilometer-long line in front of the bakery. Be a slightly better version of yourself.

There you go... I don't think there's any need for a deep text, a little support and encouragement is sometimes enough. I actually just wanted to chime in and wish everyone a good rest this weekend, because we have a long, HARD, warm summer ahead of us. And hopefully a weekend on the Adriatic.
